Classic Cut: The veil in this picture is a Classic Cut veil, also referred to as a top gathered veil.  The veil edging  goes all around the bottom and up the sides of the face--imagine the letter U--gathered across the top. Have as many layers as you like.  The veil shown here has 2 layers, also called tiers.

Circular Cut: The veil in this picture is a Circular Cut veil, also known as a center gathered veil.  The veil is cut in a circular shape, folded in half, and gathered in the middle to form a veil.  The sides of the veil fall in soft folds.  The bottom edge of the veil has a continuous edge.  This is always a two layer veil.

Cascade Cut: This is a variation of the Classic Cut, but angled on the sides to drape in gentle waves down the sides. This is most effective on a fingertip or longer length veil.

Princess Cut: A Princess Cut veil is angles on the sides to fall gracefully over the shoulders with minimal fullness at the crown of the veil. Best for fingertip or longer length veils.

Flare Cut: This is a variation of the Classic Cut veil with the sides of the veil cut in an A-line shape.  There is less fullness at the crown of the veil and more swing at the bottom. This works for all veil lengths.

Cage: This veil is a true circle worn draped over the top of the head without out any gathering at all.  If desired, a small comb can be sewn into the veil to hold it securely on the head.

We have a wide variety of veil edges from a simple cut edge to elaborate French Chantilly lace.  You will surely find something in this selection that will be perfect for your veil. Edges will match your veil color, except for metallic edges, and rhinestone banding edges.
